Source: Kevin Federline Filming Reality Show Pilot

Kevin Federline has been living a relatively low-key life since splitting from Britney Spears — but the onetime rapper and backup dancer may be stepping back into the spotlight with a new reality show, a source tells PEOPLE.

Federline, 31, was spotted at the Hard Rock Hotel & Casino in Las Vegas Thursday where he’s in town to film scenes for the show’s pilot, a source says.

The possible program, which has not been officially picked up, will focus on showcasing Federline’s life as a father of four. He has two sons with Spears — Jayden, 2 1/2, and Preston, 4 — as well as two children with ex-girlfriend Shar Jackson.

“He has been through a lot over the years, but handled himself very well. He’s learned how to balance being a super single dad and the chaotic life of business, fame and fortune,” says a source. “He strives to be a good father.”

After shooting scenes for the pilot at the Hard Rock beach pool, Federline and his girlfriend Victoria Prince, partied with a group of about 15 friends — and a camera crew — at the club Wasted Space where they sipped on Grey Goose cocktails until about 3:00 a.m.

Federline’s rep had no comment.

K-Fed on His Two Boys: They're Fortunate Kids

Sean Preston and Jayden James may have gone through a rough patch when Britney Spears and Kevin Federline decided to divorce, but it’s pretty impressive how they’ve kept their boys’ happiness a priority.

Britney has had majority custody of the boys while on her Circus tour, and Kevin is just fine with it, knowing they’ll soon be coming home to daddy…and possibly starring with daddy on a new reality show.

Hollyscoop caught up with Kevin Federline at the Ryan Sheckler Golf Tournament and talked to him exclusively about his two pride and joys, and how lucky they are at such a young age.

We asked Kevin how Sean and Jayden were doing, and he told us, “They're doing good. We just got back, we had a good time overseas. We had a lot of fun, got to go see a bunch of things, you know, they're fortunate kids. Not everyone gets to do that at that age.

Kevin is obviously referring to the fact that Sean and Jayden have been traveling all over the world with their mother Britney on her tour. And while it may sound crazy, that’s their life!

We also asked Kevin if he plans on teaching his two boys how golf and dance, which are two of his favorite things to do. K-Fed told Hollyscoop exclusively, “I think you know they're gonna be more into sports. They love dancing and pick up on things really well. But I think they'll be more into sports. They seem really really sports oriented. One of them wants to race cars already and go fast every time he sees cars, like Nascar-ready.”

When we asked Kevin if there’s was a chance we’d be seeing Sean and Jayden on the small screen with him for his upcoming reality show, he told Hollyscoop, “I have no idea.”

It’s good to hear that Kevin ad Britney are focused on doing everything they can to raise their two boys properly, even if they aren’t together. Those are two very lucky boys!

Kevin Federline Says Fatherhood Has Been 'Quite the Journey'

Perfecting his golf game and carting around TV cameras, Kevin Federline took a day off daddy duty Monday – conceding that after years of legal wrangling with Britney Spears, things are calming down.

"To watch them grow is great," Federline says of his sons Sean Preston, 3, and Jayden James, 2, at Ryan Scheckler's X Games Celebrity Skins Classic just outside L.A. "It's been quite a journey to get to where we are. But I'm really happy with the way everything is going."

He adds, "They have a fun everything! They're into tigers, lions and dinosaurs, and all that."

Federline has been overseas recently, in France and Sweden, watching the boys, while Spears has been performing on her "Circus" tour. The experience was good, he says – though Federline admits he didn't know how two young children would be staying in Europe.

"I had a really good time with the kids out there," Federline tells PEOPLE. "They were alright. It worked out pretty good for them. I was a little worried about it at first, but it worked out great."

His favorite part? "France was awesome, Sweden was great. Those were really the only places we went. We had enough time to go around and do touristy things that I don't normally get to do … We had the time to go out and see what the cities had to offer. We got to go to the museums, we got to take them to the Eiffel Tower, go on some boat rides, things like that. It was a lot of fun."

Asked about Spears, Federline has no comment. When asked about her concerts, he claims to "have no idea."

Federline, wearing a yellow polo shirt, baggy khaki shorts and sneakers on the golf course, and looking heavy, was filmed by a TV crew that he had with him. They filmed the still-secret project in an empty patio section of the course, as Federline smoked cigarettes and talked with friends.

"I have a lot of different things I'm working on right now," Federline says. "None of the things are really floating yet … as soon as I have the chance to come out and tell everybody about it, I will."

He adds, "Once we're done with everything, it will be great to get back to work. I've taken [time] to be with my family. Now it's time for daddy to get back to work ."

Kevin Talks To E! About TV Show Rumours

Kevin Federline was at the 2nd Annual Ryan Sheckler X Games Celebrity Skins Classic golf tournament at the Coto de Cozo Golf and Racquet club in Coto de Cozo, Calif. He commented on Britney's new relationship with Jason Trawick:

“I think it’s great,” he told OK!. “I’m happy for her. I’m glad she’s doing good.”

As for Britney and Kevin's relationship? “It’s cordial. It’s cool," said Kevin. "The whole situation is good right now.”

Kevin Federline has addressed rumors that he is to launch his own reality TV show, involving himself, two sons and new girlfriend Victoria Prince.

Britney's ex however, told E! Daily 10 that the show has not even been finalized.

"Speculation is speculation." Federline says. "But, whenever it comes time to release the information, you know, of what we're doing, I'll let everybody know. It would probably be pretty interesting, you know?"

Kevin also said a show could change public perception of him. "They know what they're told," he said. "I mean, it would be relevant to make something like that happen. And if and when it does, I'll let you know."

"I mean, as long as I know who I am, and my kids know who daddy is and love daddy. At the end of the day, nothing else really matters, you know."

Rumor: K-Fed and Girlfriend Plan Chaotic 2.0

Guess who's ba-a-ack?!

It's Britney Spears' wife-beater-loving ex-husband Kevin Federline, and he's eyeing a new reality program to show off his latest girlfriend, Victoria Prince, and (gasp) his two sons, Sean Preston and Jayden James, a source tells E! News.

"Victoria is a big part of the series," says the source. "They are not engaged, but she lives with him full-time in his place in Encino."

Lucky for Victoria, Britney seems to have given the "step-in mommy" her seal of approval. "Victoria and Britney first met before Britney's tour at Kevin’s home," says our source. "They had a meeting face-to-face, when Victoria was home alone with the kids. It was awkward, but Britney was nice."

When she isn't helping out with the kids, our source says that K-Fed's girlfriend, a former AVP volleyball player, is taking online graduate classes in communication. "Victoria actually quit her entry-level job at Fox Sports in L.A. after meeting Kevin," says the source. "She’s considering returning to volleyball, but isn’t sure."

This isn't the first time K-Fed has tried to reprise his role as a reality star since Britney & Kevin: Chaotic aired four years ago. In February 2008, he reportedly canceled a possible show after Britney's infamous breakdown.

A rep for VH1 could not confirm that the couple is working on a show with the network, and Kevin's rep has not returned E!'s request for comment.

Kevin And Victoria With Kids In Paris - Jul 5th

Kevin Federline was spotted with his sons Jayden James and Sean Preston over the weekend in Paris. Joined by his girlfriend Victoria Prince, Kevin showed his boys around the City of Lights while their mommy was occupied with her Circus World Tour.

The whole crew hit up the Eiffel Tower and enjoyed a boat ride on the Seine River, having a magnificent time as they toured the historic city.

Federline has been helping Britney to see her boys as much as possible by traveling out to selected locations along with the kids.
