Video: Kevin Talks To Hollyscoop.com

Hollyscoop.com caught up with K-Fed at the “Ryan Sheckler X Games Celebrity Skins Classic” gold tournament on Tuesday. Kevin wouldn’t discuss his divorce settlement, but he did talk about parenting. When asked if his responsibilities to his children have become overwhelming, he said, “It is what it is. I don’t know how to explain that, I am who I am, I love where I am at.”

In regards to the constant media scrutiny surrounding his life, he said, "I don’t know, I just don’t pay attention to it I guess. I don’t watch TV, no Internet, its pretty awesome actually, gives me a lot more time to spend with my family and my friends.”

Now that his 2-year divorce battle has been cleared, we asked Kevin if he would go back to rapping, “That I don’t know, I am not giving away anything but there’s a lot of stuff coming.”

So what's next for Kevin Federline? “Winning this tournament.” Since all the proceeds from the tournament went to charity he said, “I am going to go for Shecklers foundation…if it was up to me I’d go for the kids.” On a lighter note, K-Fed warned us that he's become a pretty avid golf player. “Don’t ever play golf with me," he joked. "When I go out there nobody knows what’s going to happen.”

Kevin Talks To People "I Can't Complain"

In his first public appearance since he was granted sole custody of his two sons with Britney Spears earlier this month, Kevin Federline hit the links Tuesday.

Asked how he is doing these days, the single dad told PEOPLE: "Been having a good summer, I can't complain."

Federline, 30, who spoke to PEOPLE at skateboarder Ryan Sheckler's X Games Celebrity Skins Classic, outside L.A., said he's been balancing career and parenting. "I've worked here and there a little bit," he said. "Definitely staying at home with the family." As for how sons Jayden, 1 1/2, and Preston, 2 1/2, are doing, Federline said, "They're good."

He was tight-lipped, however, when it came to Spears or how he's moved on from their court battle. A July 18 agreement ended the nearly two-year case, with Federline retaining sole custody of the boys, and his spousal support being bumped up to $20,000 from $15,000. "I'm not here to talk about that," he said.

Federline, who played the Trump National Golf Club course with a friend, wore baggy shorts and sneakers, smoked cigarettes off the golf course, drank iced coffee, and drove his own golf cart. He took practice shots on the driving range before the game, but both of his shots on the Hole in One competition missed. "I tried to warm up before I got here, but..." Federline laughed. "It's going to be one of those up-and-down days. We'll have to see how it goes."

He also said on the red carpet, with a smile, that his children know when their father is at play. "They know when daddy's golfing," he said.

Federline was mum about his future work plans. His last rap CD, Playing with Fire, came out in 2006. The musician said he's still a hip-hop fan. "I don't know, I'm going to make everybody wait on that," Federline said. "I'm not revealing any work strategy right now."

Kevin Wasn’t Fired From Broadway Show

NEW YORK, New York --
Contrary to a report in Star Magazine earlier this week, Kevin Federline wasn’t fired from the cast of the Broadway musical “Legally Blonde,” a rep for the show revealed to Access Hollywood.

“Star Magazine’s information is absolutely false. Jerry Mitchell and the producers were very excited about the possibility of Kevin Federline coming into the show,” Leslie Baden told Access. “Kevin’s been nothing but gracious and professional in all our conversations with him. Unfortunately, the timing on the show’s end didn’t work out. Should there be a point when we can have Kevin in our show, we would love nothing more.”

Britney Agrees To Give Kevin Sole Custody

Britney Spears has agreed to hand the parenting reins over to Kevin Federline.

K-Fed's longtime attorney Mark Vincent Kaplan exclusively tells E! News that the divorced duo have reached a settlement in their long-gestating custody case.

According to the agreement signed by all parties, Federline gets sole legal and physical custody of sons Sean Preston and Jayden James and Spears will have visitation rights.

"The case has been settled," Kaplan said. "The court still has to approve it. " Both parties are due in court Friday morning.

The case had been set to go to trial next month but all had been hoping to settle up beforehand. "As of this evening there is a fully executed deal memo...All the issues that would have been addressed at trial have been settled," Kaplan told E! News. "Can't speak to the exact terms of the deal. Orders in place...will stay in place."

But although this is theoretically good news for Federline, Kaplan maintains that this isn't exactly what his client had in mind.

"Kevins was not [out] to get custody. Kevins goal was to set up some kind of template so the mother of his children can co-parent," Kaplan said. "He said I need to have Britney to be involved in the coparenting of the kids but I need there to be a structure."

But this is the structure he got and "Kevin is absolutely delighted," Kaplan continued.

"Nobody could have anticipated the terms of events that have occurred....This was a two-year journey that will be halted at a point that is good for these children. Custody is always modifiable. If there is a final order, it means there is nothing to try."

Spears has been enjoying monitored visits with her boys since late February after temporarily losing any on-hand-mommying privileges following a stretch of noticeably erratic behavior on her part and two brief hospital stays.

Federline's camp has credited the influence of Spears' father Jamie, who was appointed a coconservator of his daughter's estate Feb. 1, for helping to get the 26-year-old popster back on track.

A court commissioner is scheduled to review whether the make the conservatorship permanent at the end of this month. If the arrangement were to end, what then happens to Spears' current deal?

"While I can't tell you the terms, the order does anticipate what happens if the conservatorship is ended," Kaplan told E! News. "The devil is always in the details and this is a very detailed deal memo. Nobody can predict what the future will bring but ...to the extent possible I think we have really anticipated how to proceed."

In a shocking new development, OK! has learned exclusively that Britney Spears has ended her battle to win back custody of her children, Sean Preston and Jayden James, from ex-husband Kevin Federline.

In an exclusive interview with OK!, Kevin's attorney Mark Vincent Kaplan says both Britney and Kevin reached and signed off on a settlement in their custody case today.

Kaplan tells OK!, "At about 8 p.m. PT, a final settlement in the Kevin Federline-Britney Spears custody case was signed. All parties have agreed to the following: Kevin will retain sole legal and physical custody of Sean Preston and Jayden James. Britney will continue to have visitation rights which may increase over time. The agreement will be presented to the court in the morning for approval by the commissioner."

Kaplan adds, "Kevin is ecstatic and the boys are thriving."

Britney, who remains under the legal conservatorship of her father Jamie Spears, lost custody of her sons to Kevin last October. At the time she had visitation privileges but they were severely restricted following her January hospitalization for psychiatric evaluation. She currently has monitored visitation with her sons two days a week and one overnight.
