Kevin's cameo in Weezer's "Pork and Beans"

Weezer Has Most Viewed YouTube Video Over Holiday Weekend

The alt-rock group Weezer had the most-viewed YouTube video over the Memorial Day weekend, earning more than three million hits. The video, for their song "Pork and Beans," stars many of the biggest Web celebrities.

Mathew Cullen, who directed the music video, gathered a variety of Web celebrities including Chris "Leave Britney alone!" Crocker, Miss Teen South Carolina, Lauren Caitlin Upton, Jud "Evolution of Dance" Laipply, Tay "Chocolate Rain" Zonday, and many others.

According to, Cullen said, "The whole concept was based on the song. It's an anthem to not conforming to what people want you to be. I wanted to celebrate the creativity and individuality that's happening on the Internet. These are all completely different people from different walks of life who have achieved their fame through unorthodox or unintentional methods but regardless they did something that people loved."

Cullen also got inadvertent stars like the Afro Ninja to participate. "There are a couple layers to pop culture," he says. "I wanted to show them there was a next chapter, that there was some redemption of what happens. For Miss Teen South Carolina, for example, she embarrassed herself through what she said but in this video, you can she is blending the word 'maps' in a blender. In the end, everybody we included really embraced the positive message."

Kevin Federline, Britney Spears' ex-husband, also has a cameo in the video. The song "Pork and Beans" can be found on the band's new CD "Red Album" that hits stores on June 3.

Kevin Attends Maxim Hot 100 Party

Kevin Federline is back. Britney Spears' ex has been MIA from the party circuit for some time now but last night he made an appearance at the MAXIM Hot 100 party in Los Angeles. The event brought out Vince Vaughn, Jeremy Piven, The Pussycat Dolls, Marissa Miller among others but all eyes were on Kevin.

Mr. Popular started the party off as he was called up on stage by DJ Vice. He started by giving out shout outs and then danced to the music with his close friends.

Kevin even called Brody Jenner on stage. When Brody made it up he announced on the mic that it had been a long time since Kevin Federline had been out. He hasn't been out because he's been playing daddy like he should! Nevertheless, judging by his face you could tell that he was really excited to be out of the house partying with pals. The "rapper" kept coming back on stage making shout outs and taking shots with his friends behind the DJ booth.

Britney's cousin Ali Simms was also at the bash. When Hollyscoop asked if she still speaks to Britney she said, "yes."

Kevin's Attorney: Britney & Kevin's Relationship Improved

There may be a thaw in the formerly contentious relationship between Britney Spears and Kevin Federline, suggests K-Fed's attorney, Mark Vincent Kaplan.

Spears, who last week was awarded more visitation time with her sons by Federline (Preston, 2, and Jayden, 1), was the topic of discussion for Kaplan, on Monday's Today show.

Kaplan said that the judge's decision at last week's ruling reflected an "improvement" in Spears's condition. She spent full days, from 9 a.m. to 6 p.m., on both May 8th and Mother's Day with her sons. Asked about the current status of the relationship between the couple – including the rumor they would again star together on a TV show – Kaplan sidestepped any direct answers, instead saying that any potential reconciliation between Spears and Federline would be for the sake of their sons. (Britney makes her second appearance on CBS's How I Met Your Mother Monday night.)

"If you're going to have two parents participate in the lives of raising their children," said Kaplan, "there has to be some camaraderie between them for that to be a meaningful expectation and reality." But are things better between the ex-husband and wife? "When you go from where things were, when there was no visitation, to where they are now," said Kaplan, "there will be some contact … there'd be some ability to exchange a camaraderie that is necessary and a function of co-parenting together."

Britney To Have More Visitation

Britney Spears will get more time with her sons during visitation, a court ruled Tuesday.

"We are so pleased with Britney's progress, and we are appreciative of the court's recognition of this progress," Spears's parents, Jamie and Lynne Spears, said in statement after a hearing attended by the pop star and her ex-husband Kevin Federline.

It was not clear how much more time Spears was granted. Federline's attorney characterized the court order as "an expansion of time."
"It is a cautious step, but a step forward nonetheless," said lawyer Mark Vincent Kaplan. "We are seeing signs of [Britney's] progress, and consistency over time is something welcome by Kevin ... The children are doing great."

Spears, with lawyer Blair Berk and both of her parents, smiled as she left the courtroom and headed for her SUV, but did not talk to the press. Earlier, during a break in the hearing, the singer was seen looking distraught. However, later she smiled and held her mother's hand as she went back into the courtroom. During the break, Spears and her lawyers, as well as Federline and his attorney, convened to adjacent rooms outside of the courtroom.

The hearing began around 9:40 a.m. on Tuesday. Spears, wearing a knee-length brown and white dress, was accompanied by her lawyer and both of her parents. Federline, wearing a tan pinstriped suit, was with Kaplan.

Kevin Arriving At Court Today

Kevin and Britney To Appear In Court Today

Britney Spears and Kevin Federline are both expected to attend a hearing in Los Angeles family court Tuesday for a progress review, sources confirm.

Though Spears has spent the last several months keeping a relatively low profile – and staying out of trouble – experts say it's unlikely the pair's current custody arrangement will change.

"As long as Britney remains under a conservatorship, she has a long way to go before the court views her as a capable mother," says L.A. family lawyer Scott Weston, who is not involved in the case.

Spears, who was hospitalized at UCLA Medical Center's psych ward in January, currently has monitored visitation rights with her sons, Preston, 2, and Jayden, 1, several times a week – but no overnight privileges. Her father, Jamie, and a lawyer maintain legal control of her affairs until a July 31 hearing.

Spears has a spotty record of attending previous court hearings: On at least two occasions, the singer briefly appeared then abruptly left – in part due to the media frenzy.

Since her father took control of Spears's life, the singer has been spending more time with her family – including her previously estranged mom. (She recently attended a baby shower for her sister, Jamie Lynn, in Kentwood, La.)

Spears has also been hard at work filming her second appearance on How I Met Your Mother, which will air May 12.

Kids Out With Nanny While Kevin Attends A Charity Event

Today Brit went home to Kentwood, Louisiana for Jamie Lynn's baby shower, and K-Fed was spotted in Simi Valley for a charity golf event supporting children’s illnesses. So who's looking after the kids? Why the bodyguard and nanny of course!

However, an X17 source noticed that K-Fed wasn't drinking, and overheard him say that he was on his way to get the boys after the event. We were surprised to learn K-Fed was abstaining, though with the media coverage of the event, maybe it's not too surprising!
