Star reports on Kevin's celebrity DJ gig at the Mirage last night

Kevin Federline spent Saturday night in a Las Vegas nightclub while his estranged wife Britney Spears took it easy at Promises rehab facility in Malibu, Calif. But, Kevin, who's morphing into Super Dad, behaved like a gentleman the entire evening!

"Kevin came in at about midnight with about 15 friends to the new club Revolution, and left at 3 a.m.," a source tells Star. The DJ was playing Justin Timberlake's song "Sexy/Back" when Kevin arrived, but then the music switched to oldies. When Bon Jovi’s "You Give Love a Bad Name" came on, Kevin's friends sang to the chorus and pointed at Kevin as he sat there and smiled. "Kevin then looked at the crowd and said, 'Federline's in the house!' and high-fived the DJ," an eyewitness tells Star.

Though Kevin, dressed in a casual suit and white shirt, was in one of the country's naughtiest cities, he kept it low key, even playing Tic-Tac-Toe on the interactive light table. "He really just hung out with his immediate group of friends all night, though there were plenty of girls trying to get into the VIP area to meet him," the eyewitness tells Star. "The only girls around him were girls he brought, but they all said they worked for him somehow."

Kevin drank Grey Goose vodka and Jim Beam and ate chicken dishes.

"Later on in the night a girl in a gray dress talked to Kevin for a long time but there was no flirting," adds the eyewitness.

Way to go, Kev..Keep it up!

It's amazing the things these ppl write know, he always went out to clubs to work and show off his craft, but these ppl always made it seem like he was doing something wrong, it good to see them actually putting some truth about him in their stories now.

He use to make appearance in clubs (just like he's doing now) to promote his music and to get his name out to the public, why do you think he was been paid if it was work.

yes, when he use to take songs that he had recorded to the clubs and play them to get the crowds reaction, the same 'tabs' that you get your stories from are the same ones that said it, also Kevin said it too, go back and read your 'nasty tabliods' if you want prove that they had said it.

Too bad "down to earth" Kevin doesn't mix with ordinary folk.
