Kevin's attorney on rumored court hearing

Michael Sands, a publicist for Federline's attorney, told FOX News they believed someone made up the news of the hearing and told Los Angeles Superior Court spokesman Allan Parachini about it.

Federline and his attorney Mark Vincent Kaplan say they never called for a hearing, and that no court papers for a hearing were ever filed.

Earlier Thursday, Jamie Spears told FOX News that Federline and his lawyer were not scheduled to appear Thursday at an emergency hearing in family law court, as Parachini had said. He also alluded to someone leaking misinformation.

Parachini later issued an update: "A lawyer has called the bailiff and indicated nothing is going to happen today," he said. He identified the lawyer as Kaplan.

Kaplan had contacted the court on Wednesday and asked for the appearance, according to the Associated Press.

"Kevin continues to be a very focused father with his children with hands-on management," said a statement from Kaplan, read by Sands.

more spin...
of course it's a lawyers job to present his client in the best possible light and this disaster is all in the court of public opinion for now...
fed-ex's past behavior shows that he has the knack to be anything to anyone at any time [ie. rapper, poet, hard core fresno gangster], sense of undeserved entitlement and he attaches himself to people he feels that can only grant him his gratification[hint "Privilege",Dancing with a Pimp"]....this is just another mask...
i am so glad brit is getting help and its going to be a long hard road...
but just remember K-fuck is fresno trailer trash...always had always will be and this fool is going to get paid because he just won the divorce lotto...

i thnk Kevin is showing and proving that opinions such as the one written above are NOT true and that peoplle ALWAYS had the wrong perception about him. He never "attached" himself to anyone. People have different facets to their personality, Kevin has always been a really good guy who has had some street experiences which gives him a tiny bit of edge. It never changed the fact that he is still a really good guy and all of Britney's family and friends agree and have ALWAYS agreed on that.

An expert lawyer just said Brit has a chance at winning custody if she would just get through the 45 day rehab program. He said that she can tell the judge that she has had help for her situation, and can take care of the kids. I thought it was a good one. Go Brit.

Kevin obviously wants Britney to be a part of the boys lives as well. Can you please think about what's best for those babies and not who's "winning" in the custody battle. The only situation where everyone wins is if everyone is working together for those babies.
