MTV: Kevin Federline Pins WWE Champ John Cena In Debut Match

Kevin Federline Pins WWE Champ John Cena In Debut Match
Dancer/rapper assisted by imposing Umaga in Monday night bout.

Kevin Federline may have been an undisputed loser on the Billboard albums chart and at the concert box office in 2006, but Britney Spears' soon-to-be-ex-husband started off 2007 with a bottle of champagne and a cigar in the winner's circle on Monday night, prevailing in his first official match as a wrestler.

In the opening contest of WWE's "Monday Night Raw" program — which aired live from Miami's American Airlines Arena — Federline pinned champ John Cena for a three count.

The backup-dancer-turned-wannabe-MC — who told the "Raw" audience a couple of weeks back that he no longer wants to be called K-Fed — showed few in-ring abilities in his 10 minutes of fight time. It was mostly posturing from Federline, but he did manage to get Cena — one of wrestling's biggest names, who counts a rap album titled You Can't See Me and the 2006 action film "The Marine" among his out-of-ring ventures — in a headlock and a "Masterlock"/ full nelson.

With Shaquille O'Neal, Jason Williams and other members of the 2006 NBA champion Miami Heat among the thousands in attendance at the arena, the fun and games ended when Cena's current arch rival Umaga — a hulking Samoan who sports facial tattoos — hit the ring and attacked Federline's opponent with Cena's own pimped-out, diamond-flooded spinner championship belt. And since the Federline-Cena match was set up as a no-disqualification fight (not a title match — Cena's belt wasn't up for grabs), everything — even Umaga's intrusion — was fair play. All Federline had to do was arrogantly cover the debilitated Cena for the win.

"I did shock the world when I beat John Cena," Federline told the crowd at the arena and those watching at home later in the evening. "Cena, I can see you. You can't see me."

Though Cena caught a beatdown earlier in the show, he did redeem himself later in the broadcast when he got a hold of Umaga and Federline. After Cena applied his finishing move (called the "F.U.") to Federline, K-Fed appeared almost K-Dead, lying flat on his back, looking up at the lights.

Cena faces undefeated newcomer Umaga in the ring on Sunday for the WWE pay-per-view contest "New Year's Revolution."

What do you expect, common sense should tell you that there is no way possible for Kevin to win on his own, ya'll are just mad that Kevin didn't get his head bashed in like ya'll wanted. WWE is just a soap opera anyway.

The whole Federline/Cena match was a joke, and Federline never "beat" John Cena, becuase to beat someone, you actally have to be contesting with someone, and WWE is nothing more then a awryly booked circus anymore, these days.

So there really was no winner, and there was no looser. All Cena did was give Federlin his 15 minutes of fame, because even with that, "victory" Federline isn't shit, and Cena's all over the place, doing signings, promoting movies, WWE, and more.

Cena's actually doing something extraordinary with his life, and he got to the top all on his own, through hard work, and determination. He didn't need some slut to make him famous.

Keven Federline is absolutly pathetic.

As far as wanting to see hm get his head bashed in, maybe not bashed in, but it would have been cool to watch him scream in agonizing pain for 15 minutes.

I think the fans would have appreciated that more then they would a completely overhyped stupid ass time killer that they called a "match," like they did that night.
