Happy New Year!

Best wishes to everyone for the new year! 2006 has been a good year for me. My husband and I moved into a new house last summer and I love it and want to grow old here. He's been working hard to develop his new photography career which for now is his part-time gig until he feels comfortable giving up his full-time job. He has inspired me to follow my dream career as well, which for a long time I didn't know what that was. But I've been having so much fun on the internet that I've decided to take some web development courses which will start in January. They will be evening courses while I work full-time and maintain this site, so I'll be pretty busy. I've always wanted to work for myself from home, and hopefully be a mother too, and web development has possibilities in that direction so I hope it will pay off in the future.

I have lots of ideas for developing as well, and I hope to be able use some of what I learn in my courses to help make that happen. Of course where this site ultimately goes depends on Kevin Federline himself. If he decided at some point he wanted to drop out of the celebrity spotlight and be a dance instructor or something I would wish him all the best and move on to different web sites. But with reports of movies, reality shows, a second CD at some point, and good reviews of his WWE performances, I suspect this site won't be going anywhere anytime soon.

Thank-you to everyone who has been visiting, it's been a pleasure working on and maintaining it. Have a great new years and all the best for 2007!

Miami Herald: Stars come out in full force at Privé

It was an ex-cellent evening at Privé Thursday night, as many celebs came face to face with their exes. In one corner, Kristin Cavallari and beau Nick Zano, ''kissing, hugging and close-dancing all night,'' says one tattle. At one point, Cavallari screamed, ''I love being in Miami for New Year's!'' Cavallari's ex, Brody Jenner, was at the table next to them, but ''they were like one of those strange, friendly exes that greeted each other happily as if there was no past between them,'' says the source.

In another corner, exes Wilmer Valderrama and Mandy Moore, who arrived together but were careful not to be photographed together. ''Wilmer was doting on Mandy,'' said the source.

Also stopping by was everyone's favorite ex, aka Kevin Federline, who sat at a table with pal DJ Irie. When asked what he was up to, he replied, ''Just focusing on being with my kids.'' Clearly.

Making a fashionably late entrance were Kim Stewart and Lindsay Lohan, who arrived with Scott Storch and a slew of bodyguards. Lohan sat at a table across from her own ex, Valderrama. ''There was no real interaction between those two besides smiles and waves,'' said our source. Lohan then jumped into the arms of Nicole Richie's ex, DJ AM, greeting him and taking a spin on his turntables. ''She wasn't drinking and seemed very content playing DJ,'' says the source. She took off around 4 a.m. in Storch's million-dollar Bugatti, which he let her drive. When she left, Mansion's ''VIP Ambassador'' Hardy Hill knocked on the hood and said, ``Lindsay, drive carefully. No, seriously.''

Lohan was also seen at Mokai Thursday night. Said one spy, ''I didn't realize Alcoholics Anonymous held their meetings there.'' Apparently Lohan was having a fine time. ''Lots of smoke and mirrors,'' our sly spy added.

We hear she's at The Delano with an entourage and will be making the rounds to various South Beach New Year's Eve parties. While you're staking out that hotel, look for Leonardo DiCaprio. He's expected in town this weekend, too, and rumor is, he'll be there.

Other celeb sightings: The Late Show with David Letterman bandleader Paul Shaffer at Macaluso's on Tuesday. Afterward, he was spotted on Lincoln Road, where singer Chayanne was seen, as was Lenny Kravitz. Anna Kournikova was spotted on Lincoln Road Thursday.

Star's account of Kevin's night at Privé

A much tamer Kevin Federline hung out in a booth at Miami's Prive nightclub in the early hours of Fri., Dec. 29. An eyewitness told Star, "Around 2:45 a.m., Kevin arrived and sat in a booth that was a couple of booths away from the main section, where all the celebrities were partying. Kevin was dressed in a button-down, dress shirt.

He was very chill and conservative, and didn't seem to be having a very good time." Said the eyewitness, "At one point, Brody Jenner jumped over to Kevin's booth, and they posed for photos together. KFed didn't really interact with any celebs other than Brody, and he left around 3 a.m." How borrrrring!

Click pictures for full size.

Kevin was at Prive Miami for "New Year's Week Miami 2007" with DJ AM. Incidently, both Brody Jenner and DJ AM are exes of Nicole Richie. Will Kevin be there for New Year's Eve as well? New Year's Eve 2007 at Prive Miami will be hosted by James Franco & Kristen Cavallari with music by celebrity DJs Samantha Ronson, Irie and Erok.

Access Hollywood: K-Fed To Wrestle WWE Champ

MIAMI, Florida (December 29, 2006) – It looks like K-Fed is ready to ring in the New Year with yet another smack down.

Kevin Federline will get into the ring with WWE champ John Cena on Monday, January 1 in Miami, Access Hollywood has learned.

Back in October, K-Fed was body slammed by Cena during a WWE event. As Kevin was shouting at fans from inside the ring, Cena entered and told Kevin he was "less talented than Paris Hilton." He then pretended to shake K-Fed's hand, but instead lifted him over his head and slammed him to the mat – much to the delight of the crowd.

In traditional WWE style, Kevin acted as if he was hurt, but was later seen walking with no pain.

K-Fed's latest venture into the ring can be seen live on January 1 on "WWE Monday Night RAW" on USA.

WWE: Cena ready to face K-Fed

Enemies John Cena and K-Fed are unified on one thing: neither is backing down from their upcoming New Year's Day bout.

Even though America's Most Hated challenged the WWE Champion nearly two months ago, the hatred between them hasn't diminished. The rivalry started back in October when K-Fed wanted Cena's title on the line in The Champion of Champions match at Cyber Sunday. Cena responded with an FU on Federline. Things escalated the following week when K-Fed goaded The Champ into chasing him, only to be double-teamed by Big Show and King Booker. Finally, at Cyber Sunday, Federline cost Cena the win when he hit him with the World Heavyweight Championship.

"The last thing I was left with from K-Fed was a slap in the face," said The Champ. "No one wants their last memory to be of that, being slapped in the face by K-Fed. Most importantly is the fact that he's called me out, challenged me to a match," he continued. "It doesn't matter if it's K-Fed or Umaga, when somebody calls me out to a fight, I'm going to fight them."

Monday's match comes just days before The Champ has to defend his title against the undefeated Samoan Bulldozer at New Year's Revolution. While Cena will attempt to block out external pressures and defend his personal pride, K-Fed looks to prove himself to the world.

"None of you know the real Kevin Federline," said K-Fed. "The real Kevin Federline takes pride in shocking the world, and that's exactly what I'm going to do when I meet Cena in the ring. My name is not K-Fed. It's Kevin Federline. I want some and I'm gonna get some."

The Champ is undeterred by K-Fed's grandiose statements.

"He thinks he can expand his resume into the field of sports-entertainment, and I believe that he can't," said Cena. "I think I share America's sentiment in knowing that he needs to get his ass whipped."

Bosko comments on producing tracks for Kevin Federline's album "Playing With Fire"

“I’m not a guy who’s glued to US Weekly,” Portland/Los Angeles producer Bosko told me recently. Before their meeting, Bosko didn’t even know that Kevin Federline was Britney Spears’ husband, or that he was a magnet for bad publicity. Unfortunately for Bosko, K-Fed’s rap album, Playing with Fire, was doomed from its inception. The album was a financial and critical bomb (though Bosko’s production was rarely a target of critics’ pen-lashings). “If you ask 10 people what the Kevin Federline album sounds like,” Bosko says, “nine or probably 10 of them will say it sucks. But I bet not one of them could name a title of any song…everyone jumped on the I-hate-Kevin-Federline bandwagon.” CASEY JARMAN.

Will Kevin be on Celebrity Big Brother?

Back in November, Kevin was a rumored to be offered a spot on Celebrity Big Brother. Did he take it? We won't know for sure until the first episode airs on Wednesday, January 3. According to

A brand new gaggle of celebrity housemates will move into a transformed Big Brother house and you can watch their every move on Channel 4 and E4.

Since the summer, Big Brother has been busy plotting and scheming and the unsuspecting group has no idea what lies in store.

From the second the famous doors shut behind them, the celebrity housemates will dwell side by side, abide by Big Brother's rules, take part in elaborate tasks and nominate each other for eviction.

Stripped of their worldly possessions, mobile phones, airbrushes and agents, they will be left at the mercy of Big Brother...and each other.

Until launch night, the housemates' identities remain shrouded in secrecy, but one thing is certain - each of them will face eviction until the last celebrity is standing.

Who goes? You decide. As usual, you'll be able to vote via telephone and text message.

Each celebrity housemate will nominate a charity to support and the total money raised via voting revenue will be split equally. This means each housemate will raise an equal amount of money for their chosen charity, regardless of where they finish in the show.

However, he may not have accepted the offer, as he is not on this recent list of rumored contestants.

Rumor: Kevin speaking with SoBe Entertainment record label?

According to the New York Post's Page Six, Kevin was in Washington D.C. on Tuesday, December 19 to meet with Sobe Entertainment's Cecile Barker. "Barker was tracked down by Kevin, who essentially begged him to be signed to the label," said the tipster. This is unconfirmed by Barker.

Jay Leno mentions Kevin Federline

On The Tonight Show with Jay Leno during the monologue Jay mentioned Kevin Federline's upcoming appearance on WWE TV when he said, "Did you hear that 'K-Fed' Kevin Federline is actually going to wrestle the current WWE Champion on an upcoming pay per view special?" (audience laughs) "Yeah apparently K-Fed is going to quit fake rapping and start fake fighting."

Rumor: Britney to do an interview with Vanity Fair about the marriage

The Sun (not a particularly reliable source) has reported the following:

BRITNEY SPEARS is plotting to tell all about her marriage in an explosive interview with Vanity Fair mag.

She will do a JENNIFER ANISTON-style post-divorce expose on life with KEVIN FEDERLINE ahead of a big comeback.

A source close to Brit said: “Britney has agreed to make Vanity Fair her first big statement about her new life. The interview will be very frank. She liked how they handled Jennifer’s first interview after her divorce from BRAD PITT.”

If this is true we should expect the he said, she said interviews soon. Although did Brad Pitt ever do an interview? Maybe it will be just she said. Or maybe Kevin will handle it like Nick Lachey and do a he said as well. Either way it will be interesting. I personally have been unimpressed with the way Britney has handled the divorce so far, but a good interview would be a step in the right direction.

More Pics of Kevin's new house

From Star Magazine:

On Dec. 11, Kevin was spotted moving into the two-story Tuscan-style home, which is on the market for $2.5 million. "He also had two mattresses brought into the house, along with a lot of brown boxes and a flat-screen TV," the witness tells Star.

The 6,300 square-foot, five-bedroom Tarzana, Calif. property with a pool, which Kevin is renting for $7,000 a month, sits on a half acre of "very woodsy" land. "It's a great area for young families and it's safe and peaceful," a source tells Star.

USA Today comments on Kevin Federline and Britney Spears' divorce

New public images are being drawn as Britney Spears and Kevin Federline battle for custody of sons Sean, 1, and Jayden, 3 months.

Both need to convey conflicting personas, says New York divorce lawyer Sheila Riesel. So, it's good parent vs. hip entertainer. USA TODAY looks at how the images are playing:

Game faces

As soon as divorce papers were filed Nov. 7, Federline's hard-partying ways faded from the spotlight, replaced with steps that reflect a family man. Photos of Federline spending Thanksgiving with Shar Jackson, the mother of his two older children, Kori, 4, and Kaleb, 2, hit the Web. His camp released a Nov. 28 photo of Federline and lawyer Mark Kaplan having dinner together, including a press release noting Federline's dinner jacket (sans hip-hop chains and ubiquitous cigarette). This month, Federline hit Disneyland for a photo op with Kori.

Spears unveiled a slimmed down look on the Late Show With David Letterman hours before she filed divorce papers and followed up with ice skating in Manhattan. Ten days later, she surfaced in Las Vegas. Soon, photos of Spears partying on the West Coast in skin-baring outfits and without panties overshadowed pictures from her birthday outing to the zoo with Sean. Following an apologetic explanation on her website Dec. 7, she surfaced exhibiting some temperance (she wore panties). This week, Spears shifted to family outings: lunch with mom and a Lakers game with little sis Jamie Lynn (who was also in tow when Spears had a star tattooed on her hand.)

Public view

"Clothes really do make the man, and the change speaks volumes about how seriously he is taking this," says Amanda Sanders of New York Image Consultant. "I don't know if the public will necessarily buy it, but it does show that he's intelligent enough to follow the advice of others. Obviously, his original image wasn't working."

Her partying image has gone on too long, says Sanders, who believes a few hot nights with Paris Hilton would have been enough of a boost to Spears' youthful appeal. "She's become really frowned upon, and I don't think it's an act anymore. It's a complete change, and when it makes the cover of major newspapers, it has to have some kind of effect."

Potential legal impact

"He's trying to remake himself and influence the outcome of the case by presenting an image that is a substantial change from the life the two of them actually led," says Riesel. "My assumption is that she has an arsenal to dispute the legitimacy of this newfound Father Knows Best image."

Judges do read, says Riesel, and Spears' panty-free clubbing spree "could color an evaluation." But the singer "has got to be concerned about her career, and the impact the divorce can have on how the public views her. But we, as a society, have certain images of how a young woman and mother should behave. She's got a lot on the line here."

Next stop

Aspiring rapper Federline is getting into the ring with World Wrestling Entertainment star John Cena in Miami on New Year's Eve.

Spears is planning to host a party (no performance) at Pure Nightclub in Las Vegas on New Year's Eve.

Pic: Kevin's new house in LA? is claiming that this is the house Kevin is renting in LA for $8000 a month. Previous rumors about this house can be found here.

Rumor: Kevin Federline will no longer be the Five Star Vintage spokesmodel? is claiming they have a source that says Kevin's Five Star Vintage spokesmodel contract has not been renewed for the next season (unconfirmed). In honor of this I've compiled information about Kevin's Five Star Vintage modeling career:

Kevin's first Five Star Vintage modeling images were shot on June 13, 2006 and featured clothing from the Fall/Winter collection. The ads appeared on the back cover of Stuff Magazine’s September 2006 issue, as well as in Complex, Nylon Guys and URB Magazine nationally. The ad campaign can be viewed here, behind the scenes photos here, and a behind the scenes video here.

In September, 2006, Kevin's contract was renewed. The fashion line's Director of Marketing, Kenneth Loo, said, "We had plans to follow up our first advertising campaign with Kevin Federline with another famous face. But the overwhelming success both in terms of sales and brand awareness made using him an easy decision." reported that the company chose Federline again because of his ''renegade style,'' and because it nearly sold out of each outfit Federline modeled. "He is a maverick, making his own choices when it comes to his music, his fashion and his celebrity," Loo said. "He is constantly in the public eye, which makes him a good spokesman for our line." The new ads showcased the company's holiday line and were featured in October issues of major fashion/lifestyle magazines.

On October 11, 2006, Kevin held a party at Kitson Men in Los Angeles to launch Five Star Vintage's Holiday 2006 collection, and to preview a few tracks from "Playing With Fire." Here are some pics and video of the event. Extra interviewed Kevin at the event as well. (On a side note, it always blows me away to read through old interviews and hear how Kevin responds when asked about Britney. Less than a month before she filed for divorce he says: "My wife is there for me all the time. And both of us are growing together. And it's working, it's good.")

As I'm sure you can tell, Weird Al has added video of his own questions to pre-existing Kevin interview footage. I have also found Weird Al "interviews" with Jessica Simpson, Eminem, and Madonna on youtube.

Kevin's reading from

Birth Date........... March 21, 1978
Birth Location..... Fresno, California
Sun Sign............ Aries

Just for fun I requested a reading from for Kevin Federline. A full length one costs $9.95, but the following excerpt is available for free:

Section 1: The Inner You: Your Real Motivation
You are a person who thrives on challenge, and you often feel that you must battle your way through life, depending upon no one and nothing but your own strength, intelligence, and courage. You believe in being totally honest, true to oneself and one's own vision and convictions, even if that means standing alone. Honesty, integrity, personal honor, and authenticity are your gods, and you have no sympathy for weakness of character in others.

Section 2: Mental Interests and Abilities
Outspoken and direct, you are always eager to express your ideas and opinions and don't mind opposing the consensus and stirring up a little controversy. You have fresh, original ideas and much enthusiasm for anything new and untried, but once the novelty has worn off, you are interested in another new idea or project. You never seem to have enough time to do all you want to. You are very honest, speak decisively and convincingly about things you believe in, and are unable to pretend to agree with someone if you honestly don't. You may be somewhat deficient in tact.

People - Kevin Federline Trash Talks WWE Champ

Kevin Federline is ready for a fight.

The estranged husband of Britney Spears is scheduled to face World Wrestling Entertainment champion John Cena in the ring on New Year's Day in Miami – and is already talking like he's the winner.

"The real Kevin Federline never backs down from a challenge," Federline said Monday night at Washington, D.C.'s Verizon Center, where a WWE extravaganza was taking place, The Washington Post's "Reliable Source" column reports.

Federline, who earlier this fall signed with the WWE to appear in some staged fights and was even body slammed by Cena in October, was there to promote his New Year's Day face-off.

And though the rapper is poised to for an uphill battle with Spears over custody of the couple's two children – Sean Preston, 1, and Jayden James who was born Sept. 12 – the 28-year-old says he'll be the victor when he meets the 6,1", 240-lb. Cena in the ring.

"Make all your jokes, because New Year's Day I'm the one who is going to be laughing," Federline shouted to Monday's crowd – which, according to The Post, booed him, except for two women upfront who extended their hands.

He also had an announcement for his rival. "Oh yeah, Cena, my name is not K-Fed, it's Kevin Federline, bitch, and I want some and I'm gonna get some."

Spears filed for divorce from Federline on Nov. 6 after two years of marriage. Both Spears and Federline have asked for sole custody of their two sons.

Kevin's appearance on WWE RAW tonight

"My name isn't K-Fed, it's Kevin Federline...bitch!" During his Raw return, the controversial hip-hop star delivered a strong message to his New Year's Day opponent John Cena. "I want some, and on New Year's day, I'm gonna get some."

Nitro and Melina are walking in the back and come across Kevin Federline! Kevin congratulates Nitro on defeating the Hardys. Melina asks if he wants to go through with 'this' and he says it is something he must do.

A quick Rocky Balboa preview is shown. The movie, which was partially shot in the greatest city in the world (Philadelphia), comes out on Wednesday. Sylvester Stallone joins us live via camera. King asks if Rocky could continue on as a promoters. Sly replies that the in ring stuff is part of the morality play. If Rocky moved onto something else, it wouldn't work. He promises it is the last Rocky film. King asks how much is based on Stallone, and Sly says it is partly biographical, especially Rocky Balboa. King asks if The Contender, a reality show about boxers, could work in WWE. Sly says a concept like The Contender could work in WWE (didn't they do it and wasn't it called Tough Enough?). Sly says being in the ring with the Hulkster was very painful. King asks who would win a boxer vs. wrestler match, Rocky or Hulk Hogan? Sly wisely says the Hulkster. Sly puts over how fast wrestlers are. King wants to know what Sly thinks of actors who compete with wrestlers. Sly says Federline has a death wish and Cena could beat KFed with one finger. He says Federline vs. Cena's wardrobe might by more appropriate before the interview ends.

JR is now in the ring getting ready to introduce Kevin Federline, mentioning how late night hosts such as Jimmy Kimmel and Conan O'Brien have made fun of him. Federline's entrance music is one of his 'raps'. K-Fed takes the mic and leaves the ring. Federline says JR gave a nice introduction, but says JR and everyone in the arena can't stand K-Fed. Federline says he is not K-Fed. That is just a media invention that everyone 'brought' into. He says the real Kevin Federline never backs down from a challenge and overcomes every obstacle. He also takes pride in shocking the world. He says on January 1st, Kevin Federline will be whupping Cena's ass, and on New Year's Day, he will be laughing. He tells Cena he wants some, and he's going to get some.

Kevin will likely be on WWE RAW tonight, John Randall Hennigan (Johnny Nitro) interviewed

Wrestling fans are K-Fed up Federline has that going for him

John Randall 'Johnny Nitro' Hennigan says Kevin Federline (left) has a hot commodity in the wrestling world: fans' hostility.

Kevin Federline is making hay out of hatred as WWE bad guy. Britney's unpopular ex is expected to make an appearance at a wrestling event at Verizon Center in Washington tonight.

Maybe Kevin Federline should swipe a page from his estranged wife's songbook and write a rap ditty titled "Baby, Boo Me One More Time."

The sheer intensity of the negative reaction Britney Spears' ex is drawing from crowds since he began appearing on the pro wrestling tour in October is the envy of the WWE, one wrestler says.

Federline, a spectacular failure as a hip-hop artist, may have found his niche as a pro wrestling villain. He's been drowned out by thunderous boos when he's tried to rap in the ring at WWE events beginning in October.

It's likely he'll show up at tonight's nationally televised RAW event at the Verizon Center in Washington, a WWE spokesman said.

And the rail-thin Federline is scheduled to make his debut as an actual wrestler on New Year's Day in a match against imposing WWE star John Cena, who recently had the lead role in the action movie "The Marine."

Another wrestler, John Randall Hennigan, whose stage name is Johnny Nitro, was awed by the negativity of the crowd reaction the first time Federline appeared at a WWE event.

"That was something every wrestler dreams of," Hennigan told The Free Lance-Star during a phone interview.

"The mark of a good entertainer as a wrestler is evoking a reaction," he said. "And that was the strongest reaction I can recall from the fans. Every time he goes on stage, people scream their heads off.

"They want to see him get his [butt] kicked. They want to see the anti-hero get his come-uppance. They want to see Kevin Federline get what's coming to him."

But Hennigan, who has become a Federline fan, a friend and will be in his corner for the Jan. 1 match with Cena, says the man some man called Mr. Britney Spears is getting a bad rap.

"I don't think he deserves it," Hennigan said.

He called Federline a "great person, with very sophisticated views on a lot of things--music, entertainment."

Hennigan also called Federline a "great humanitarian," but couldn't explain what Federline has done for humanity other than marrying a pop diva and rapping badly.

He expects Federline to reverse his image as a wrestler.

"The wrestlers the fans hate the most usually end up being the wrestlers the fans love the most," he says.

That may be a difficult scenario to envision in Federline's case. but Hennigan is a believer.

"Since he came to the WWE, K-Fed's been wearing suits and isn't partying as much," he said. "People are gonna realize they have the wrong opinion of Kevin."

Hennigan says that during the booing and heckling, Federline "never missed a beat, and a lot of people would have."

Another famous singer would have run away, he says.

"What would happened if Michael Jackson walked out in the wrestling ring?" Hennigan said. "He would have gotten that reaction and he would have run away and hid somewhere."

He scoffed at the suggestion that the difference might be that Jackson has enough money to hide and Federline doesn't.

"K-Fed doesn't have millions of dollars, but certainly, after that lawsuit, and with the pre-nup, he has plenty of money to live comfortably on for the rest of his life," Hennigan said.

Others are saying Federline needs the money for legal fees related to lawsuits and haggling involved in the divorce settlement.

He learned that Spears was suing for divorce via a text message on his cell phone while he was out partying. Then he sued her for custody of the couple's two young children.

Hennigan acknowledged that Federline will "always have to fight an uphill battle," but said that's because the tabloids are unfairly out to get him.

"They want to find K-Fed drunk in some hotel lobby, throwing a bottle against the wall," Hennigan said.

But "he's turning a corner and changing his image. He's wearing suits. He's not partying like he used to. He's a changed man. And he's taking this [Cena] match seriously."

Federline told E! News last week he's a family man "and that's the truth."

He told E! his New Year's resolution is to be "a little bit wiser, a little bit stronger."

It might seem that no one could possibly take the skinny Federline wrestling the powerful Cena seriously.

"He's quicker," Hennigan said.

"K-Fed doesn't have have a glass jaw. He can take a few hits."

Of course, Federline could win simply because the match is scripted that way.

Hennigan, a former high school wrestler who won an MTV extreme fighting contest to enter the WWE, acknowledged that pro wrestling is art, not sport.

"What's real?" he said.

"The magic of wrestling isn't about that, it's about how it makes people feel."

Kevin Federline pays a visit to Britney Spears at her new gated estate mansion in the Hollywood Hills yesterday

View video

Kevin Federline is sighted paying a visit to his estranged wife Britney Spears at her new gated estate mansion in the Hollywood Hills today. In a move that shows that things may not be as bitter between the two as previously thought, Kevin, who had been spotted earlier in the day helping move mattresses into his friends San Fernando valley apartment, left there and drove in his prized SRT10 viper truck to see Britney at her new house. He was kept waiting at security for 15 minutes for the go ahead from his soon to be ex wife. Kevin, who was anxious to not be photographed, cracked his blacked out window down only a fraction when speaking to the security guard and on his departure approximately an hour after arriving, left at great speed to try to foil photographers.

CBS reports on Kevin, Kori, and Kaleb's visit to Disneyland

(CBS) While Britney Spears is still out club-hopping in Los Angeles (TMZ reported that she popped in at Hyde and Area last night), Kevin Federline seems to be focusing on family.

K-Fed took his daughter, Kori, and son, Kaleb, (his children with actress Shar Jackson) on a five-and-a-half hour excursion to Disneyland on Wednesday evening, The ShowBuzz has confirmed.

Federline arrived at the California theme park just before 5 p.m. with his two children, an assistant and two others who appeared to be security guards.

"We had been notified the day before that they wanted to come so we made the appropriate arrangements," a source from Disneyland says.

Father and daughter first jumped on the Disneyland railroad, went to New Orleans Square and got on the Haunted Mansion, which is decorated for the Tim Burton film "The Nightmare Before Christmas."

"Kori said it was her first time at Disneyland … She clearly loved her dad and she was having fun," the source said. "He was asking her 'What do you want to do next?' "

Kori went on rides with her father while little Kaleb slept. "Kaleb was actually asleep in the stroller and he didn't want to wake him up," the source says.

They all stayed to watch the Christmas parade and the Christmas fireworks show and left at about 10:30 p.m., after fake snow fell on Main street.

"He was just like any dad with his kids. She was a very sweet little girl," the source said.

Federline has two children with Spears (Sean Preston, 1, and Jayden James, 3 months), who filed for divorce in November after two years of marriage. Recently she's been photographed living it up with Paris Hilton and a new guy named Jonathan Rotem, K-Fed's former music producer.

Federline told E! News recently that he wants the public to know that he is a family man, adding "that is me, that is the truth, that is in all honesty, that is what it is."

He also said he's moving forward with his career and would eventually like to be "making movies."

Kevin to purchase a second home in Miami?

Watch Out, Miami: Here Comes K-Fed! Kevin Federline's friend DJ Irie, the resident deejay at hot Miami nightclub Mansion, tells Star's David Caplan that Kevin is on the hunt for real estate in Miami, where he and Britney visited together as a couple, and where he has partied since the split. "He's going to be buying a place in Miami," says DJ Irie, who first met Britney and Kevin last Spring while they were in Miami. "He's coming back to Miami right after Christmas; like literally like the day after Christmas, he's coming back to Miami. And we're going to hang out, and I'm going to take him to different areas [of the city]. He's definitely doing it. He's going to get a place in Miami for sure."

While in Miami for his post-Christmas jaunt, Kevin will host a New Year's Eve party at a yet-to-be-determined venue. "He was like 'Yo, look out for me! I'm coming out right after Christmas," DJ Irie tells Star. "So he'll be in L.A. with his family [for Christmas]."

Why Miami? "He loves it," DJ Irie says. "He gets a lot of love down there. He has a good time. He'll definitely still live in L.A., but just have a place in Miami."

The bigger question, though, is where is Kevin getting his money? DJ Irie tells Star that Kevin is looking at pricey townhouse condos. "There's a place that's really, really nice; a really nice area. They go for about $1.2 million, $1.3 million."

Kevin's interest in a second home, in Miami, is not new. But, says DJ Irie, now that Kevin is a free man, the rules of real estate have changed: "He's been thinking about it for awhile. But now it's pretty much his call. Now that it's his call and he can do what he wants to do, he's like 'F*** It. I'm doing it!'"

You go, Kevin!

And P.S., you're looking hotter than ever — keep up the new look, Kevin!

andPOP Interviews Kevin Federline

(andPOP) - The first week of November may be the period that forever defines Kevin Federline's stardom. He had just released his debut rap album, "Playing With Fire," when he got the news: his marriage with Britney Spears was about to end.

In one of his first interviews since splitting from Spears – which came with the condition that no personal questions were to be asked – Kevin Federline addresses his critics, low-turnouts at his shows and his future music plans.

andPOP: Who has been your biggest support personally and professionally for this album?
Kevin Federline: My family and friends were my biggest supporters for me while making this record. They were extremely honest with me throughout the whole process and I appreciated that the most.

andPOP: You started out as a dancer, did you always want to go into rap or when was that decision made?
Kevin Federline: Even as a dancer, I always played around with the idea of rapping. I was in and out of the recording studio a few times, but I didn't make the official decision of doing it professionally until I recorded my first song almost two years ago. From that moment on, I was hooked and didn't stop writing or recording until this album was finished.

andPOP: What kind of influences did you draw upon for this album?
Kevin Federline: I was influenced by many hip hop artists and rappers. I love music in general. I wanted to make an album that you could dance to.

andPOP: The media scrutiny around your personal life and professional life has been heavy- how do you get through it? Does it ever bother you?
Kevin Federline: The media definitely affects the way you live each day when you're under this much scrutiny, but it doesn't stop me from living my life.

andPOP: Were you ever frustrated with the negative response to your album before it was released?
Kevin Federline: Yes, it is still frustrating to me that people are criticizing me as an artist without ever even listening to my music.

andPOP: Do you listen to or read reviews? How does it affect you?
Kevin Federline: I don't necessarily read the reviews, but my friends or people around me often feel the need to let me know what people are saying. I try not to let it affect me.

andPOP: Turnout at your shows has been reportedly low, what do you want your fans to know about coming to a Kevin Federline show? What can they expect?
Kevin Federline: The turnout was actually very good considering the media and tabloids were constantly saying that my promo tour was canceled. The crowds were high energy and we all had a lot of fun. I love to perform and I can't wait to get back out on the road. It cracks me up when I see the same reporter or blogger dancing in the crowd at my show only to write a negative review about it the next day.

andPOP: Does being referenced to as KFed, or other nicknames, bother you at all?
Kevin Federline: The nicknames don't bother me at all. KFed was actually a name given to me by the media, which is pretty funny. None of my real friends call me KFed.

andPOP: Have you begun to think about a second album yet
Kevin Federline: Yes, I've thought about a second album, but that will come in time.

andPOP: Who did you make this album for?
Kevin Federline: I made this album not only for myself, but for everyone to get a better understanding of who I am and how I feel. The media has a way of targeting certain people and creating stereotypes that are untrue. I think in time, everyone will realize that I am a good person working hard to make a living.

andPOP: What would people be surprised to hear about Kevin Federline that they don't know?
Kevin Federline: I have no idea! I think people are always surprised when they meet me because they are expecting one thing and they see that I am really a laid back, nice guy.

andPOP: What are your upcoming touring/promotional plans?
Kevin Federline: I plan to hit hard again with more promotion and tour dates next year. Check out my new single "Privilege" on Myspace and look for updates on my web site.
