Video and more info: Kevin at HoB - Nov 22
One of our operatives went undercover to Kevin Federline's concert at the House of Blues last night and was shocked - shocked - to discover a huge group of enthusiastic fans of Britney's ex-husband! And I do mean enthusiastic - when K-Fed leans out into the audience during a song in the clip we've got below, the girls start flipping out like they'd just met the Pope instead of Mr. Popozao!
Also Trent from trent.blogspot.com was at the show. He says there were also haters around, some throwing drinks on the stage. He saw Pauley Shore, Ron Jeremy and Kimberly Stewart. He also mentioned the "why do they hate you K-Fed? - I dunno -- maybe because I took their queen" line, which reminds me of something Kevin said to salon.com just before the divorce:
"They saw this street kid. The world doesn't want that for Britney Spears. That's their queen," he said. "They don't want some dude that looks like a hoodlum ... They want her to be with the all-American boy."
Apparently he threw "ex-superstar" into the line "Don't hate 'cause I'm a superstar, and I married a superstar, never come between us no matter who you are" which I'm sure has some Britney fans up in arms. I doubt he really thinks Britney is no longer a superstar. It has to be a little awkward to have some of the lines he does in his songs so if he needs to throw "ex" in there so be it. It's no worse the the "F*ck K-Fed" line he uses on himself.
