Kevin Federline launches Record label called Federation Records

New, York, N.Y. August 11, 2006 - Performer and rapper Kevin Federline is gearing up for the release of his debut album Playing with Fire. The expected release date for this album is October 2006. In support of his debut album Playing with Fire, Federline is set to make his national debut performance on the upcoming Teen Choice Awards on Sunday, August 20 (8:00 PM ET - Live) on Fox with the first single, "Lose Control." Federline will be the closing act for the Teen Choice Awards show! "Lose Control" will ship nationally to radio immediately following his performance on Monday, August 21st. Federline will also appear live at Power 106 FM with Big Boy on Monday, August 21st 7:00 AM to debut the single "Lose Control" as well.

Federline recently completed the high energy music video for "Lose Control" at Pure night club in Las Vegas. The video is set for release during the first week of September 2006. Federline who was recently featured on the covers of Item and Steppin' Out has a feature coming out in the September issue of GQ set to hit stands on August 19, 2006. A style icon in the making, Federline is also the new face of Five Star Vintage clothing company. Their first advertising campaign starring Kevin Federline debuted Friday, August 4th on the back cover of Stuff Magazine's September 2006 issue.

Federline, in conjunction with his manager Dan Dymtrow recently started his own record label, Federation Records. His debut album, Playing with Fire will be the first official album to be released on Federation Records. Federline is also launching his official website on September 5, 2006.

Federline has recently been featured in Newsweek, Spin, King, XXL, Blender and Giant magazine. Federline began his career as a backup dancer, performing with Michael Jackson, NSYNC, Destiny's Child, and Pink.
